Storage Tips

Your ship has two storages, your captain’s locker and the cargo hold.

The first is located on the right hand sand when approaching the cockpit seat, the second is located on the left hand side, when approaching the cockpit seat. You can store very little in the captain’s locker, but the ship’s cargo hold is significantly more spacious AND you can upgrade it even further, by adding additional, or larger, cargo modules to your ship.

Also, you get a personal storage locker, with INFINITE capacity in your room at the Lodge. All you have to do to get access to that is advance the main story just a little bit. There are also all of the crafting and research stations in the basement of the Lodge, so it’s worth doing that little bit of story to get all of that access (imo).

Note: Also, if you want to embrace the hoarder life, just drop all your stuff on the floor of the ship, near infinite free storage.

• Add cargo modules to your ship
• Build a base
• Train the weight lifting perk
• Train the payload perk
• Don’t keep common crafting components, keep the common crafting materials that weigh a fraction to make it.
