How to Fix Crashes Every 2-5 Minutes
The game used to quit to dashboard every 2 – 5 minutes on my Series X even if it was idle in the title screen. As I read the official discord I was not the only one with that problem.
I recognised it shows a saving progress in the upper right corner just the second before it crashed.
So I checked my router log and there where several blocked connections to Microsofts activity tracking systems. I whitelisted them one by one and finally got a blocked palworldgame.com query. As I whitelisted it as well the game is running without crashing minutely.
So if you use any privacy settings, a VPN or something like pihole / adguard in your network try to allow these URL:
- watson.events.data.microsoft.com
- self.events.data.microsoft.com
- telemetry.palworldgame.com
I’m not tech minded but with the same issue I found that When you know that error is present, try to exit game to force the save and then bring up the Xbox home screen to force the close. Has resolved it for me numerous times.
