As you may know, you can punch the Screwdriver in an enemy to inflict all the damage that would been dealt overtime in a single hit, which is very useful to kill annoying Maurices and Sentries.
Tips to Kill Hideous Mass with the Drill Boi
I was testing what uses that could have and I found something interesting, you can almost instakill a Hideous Mass with the Screwdriver Railgun, you just need to shoot the drill in the red spot in its chest (a little under his stone face) and punch it.
As far as I have tested, this just doesnt work on the 1-3 Boss Version, but it does work in generic Hideous Masses, the 2 HM that appear at the last area of 6-1 and P-2 aswell.
PS: Remember that this is an ALMOST Instakill, but you can easily just finish it with a few shoots, but beware of that.
Do with that knowledge as you will!
- You can also actually instakill a hideous mass with a railcannon shot if you know how to use coins.
- You can also basically instakill it with the sawblade launchers if you stick the magnet in the right spot (around about where the brighter section of the chest area is where you want to place it).
