You Can Move and Sprint while Calling Strategems on KB+M
I was asked how I was moving while calling in strategems in a public match, and I haven’t seen anyone talking about this yet so I decided to make a post.
To do this, you can bind different buttons to movement and the call strategem directional buttons.
I also noticed you can’t shoot while calling a strategem so I’ve binded my strategem directional buttons to the arrow keys, and I take my right hand off the mouse to call in the strategem. Since I’m right handed (and used to play Audition in the past) this also gives me the added advantage of being able to hit those buttons faster.
You lose the ability to look around while calling strategems, but in my experience I would sacrifice that for the ability to call in strategems while full sprinting away from a group of enemies.
I have it bound to an extra mouse button so I hold and damn near instantly slam in the code. You can get really fast long as they aren’t scrambled.
To each their own but I feel taking my hand off my mouse to move to arrow keys would ultimately be way slower.
