The camera turn speed is painful in this game. I’d rather run naked in the Abyss than subject myself to another two minutes waiting for the camera to rotate.
Guide to Change Camera Speed
Here’s how you change it.
Go to the settings file in the following folder location:
- User > App data > Locallow > Owlcat Games > Pathfinder Wrath of the Righteous
general_settings
It’s a Json file. Just open it as a text file.
The camera setting is about 2/3 the ways down, on line 266. It’s nestled in the middle of photo mode settings. This is the line you want:
"settings.game.main.camera-rotation-speed": 1.0Change the 1.0 value to a higher number. Personally I find 3.0 to be nearly perfect while using a gamepad.
Why isn’t this part of the in-game settings? Who knows. It makes the game ten times more playable.
