Forgotten Pills
Crosshills nameless village calligraphy party member gives you some pills when you invite them.
Basically every major faction sells at least one in the sect shop.
You can get one from the Relic House if you clear out the center table and then do it again when he challenges you to a rematch, you only get one shot for this (also clearing out all 5 tables in one go gives you a chance to earn a legendary internal manual).
The auction is the only “infinite” option. I believe that if a bonus item will appear during an auction, you can mouse over the empty slot during the auction and see the item tooltip. It works for the Pig Ring at dirty street, but I haven’t tested it on others.
If true, that will dramatically save time if you are going to try savescumming for pills, as you can reload almost immediately after beginning the auction.
