Foreword

It is (thankfully) very easy to see your ritual strength and resistance by looking in your ritual room (although an option to see resistances to rituals you haven’t acquired any of would be welcome. Just because my deception is 0 doesn’t mean no one is going to target me).

Also aware of the most obvious ways to increase your resistances, which are to increase the stat (also increases ritual power) and to grab artifacts or relics that directly boost your resistance.

However, part of your resistance number is always unaccounted for…

The Calculation

Ritual strenght + 2D6 VS Ritual resistance + 2D6

• Rank (+1 for every step after first).
• Your avatar stat (+1 for every 1 point of stat).
• Places of power (varies).
• Artefacts (varies).
• Relics (rings +2).

Important note: Leveling up a stat also increase your resistance to that stat’s spells.
