Walkthrough Overview
I’ve cleared all 12 levels after freeing the god boss in the Ancient Ruins. In a few of the levels before level 11, just for fun, I marched around till day 500 – 1100 with emblems Marching Practice, Interest, and Contract Spirit and created a full team of 11 level 6 champions each with 3 Mythic (green) and Celestial I/Celestial II (white) items.
These teams easily beat the bosses with 30 days of Miasma. Levels 11 and 12 are a bit more difficult because there is no cap to the miasma, and you have to micro manage every step you take. Essence accumulation is the number 1 concern.
Tips
Always do dungeons and bosses at night (except the final boss, do that fight in the day time).
Potions that give the essence contract are amazing to use on big fights, and save gold to buy a champ or 2 from the Ancient Ruins dungeon to liquidate into essence at the Altar or Spring of Oblivion.
Beyond essence accumulation, you need to build a strong team. There are a few units that are completely broken and with the right setup and investment can solo the final boss.
I’ll leave that exploration up to you, but I will say this – shielding – shielding is a critical mechanic in this game and imo more important than damage or any other stat.
Finally, outfit your team with 3x Sacrificers so they can earn you more essence.
