Quick Guide to Vanguards Build Orders

• Start build 2 BOB’s and set up keybinds.
• After 2nd BOB use the vanguard ability for BOB’s and send 4 down to natural to build quick CC.
• Keep building BOB’s until saturated on 2 bases with 6 of thorium.
• After natural CC built start walling off with max 4 barracks, sentry post and habitats.
• After 2 – 3 barracks are built build a biokinetics lab and place 6 BOB’s on thorium.
• Once the biokinetics is built, build Exo’s until supply 100 and get the speed upgrade. After supply 100 start work on meck to move onto Vulcans.

This should give you enough to be safe moving around to expand. If you are being rushed place more sentry posts and lancers around your resource lines. But dont go over the top as this will put you behind.

If you are being celestial rushed by their early flying unit the fast expand allows you to still have a nice economy while you spam lancers and sentry posts into your base to defend it.

The early wall off as well seems to work well against their rolly boys but its harder to do on some maps because multiple openings.

Lancer + Exo Opener

• 0:00 Press W>A to build BOB workers for mining more Luminite. Note: Aim for non-stop BOB production out of all Command Posts and 8 or more BOBs on each Luminite mine, and get to 5 total BOBs on Therium once you’re past 12 workers on Luminite. Feel free to send your SCOUT to the opponent’s base (typically the opposite corner) to get information, and then bring it home after.
• 0:10 Q>D to build a Barracks.
• 0:55 W>S,S to build 2x Lancer. Q>S to build a Habitat for more Supply (this increases the maximum size of your army).
• 1:38 Q>C to build a Biokinetics Lab to unlock Exo units. After, W>S to build a third Lancer.
• 2:35 W>F to train your first Exo.
• 2:45 Grab 4 BOBs from your Luminite mine and send to nearest open Luminite expansion. As they’re moving, Ctrl+Q to use the BOB Overcharge top-bar ability and click your main base Command Post – this will make the BOBs glow blue and build faster.
• 2:55 Q>A to build a Command Post to expand once at 400 Luminite.
• 3:00 Train 2x more Exo (W>F, F). Send your first Exo and three Lancers to defeat a SPEED or HEALTH camp.
• 4:20 Ctrl+Q your second base Command Post, then send all its BOBs to fast build 2x more Barracks.
• 4:25 Select a Command Post and upgrade it to Tier 2 with the D key.
• From Here: continue to make 3x Exo at a time, non-stop. Also be sure to get the Exo’s Quickdraw Hustle upgrade (R>F).

W>A (Press W, then A).

Ctrl+W (Press Ctrl and W at the same time).
