Where’s the Save File Location?

Just in case, you want to make a backup…

For Patreon version saves are here:

downloads/Lust_Theory_S2_Windows/game/saves 

For Steam version, here:

C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Lust Theory Season 2\game\saves 

And there is one main folder with saves, here:

C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\LustTheory2

How to Migrate from Patreon to Steam Version

There is no need to merge or change anything when switching from Patreon to Steam version. Saves are stored in the same main folder so game should see them automatically, no matter if you boot up Steam or Patreon version.

Currently, the only important thing is how old are your saves, I mean if you play both Patreon and Steam version after VOs update, then it’s no problem, but if you played Patreon version before VOs update, and now you switch on Steam version, saves might cause some unexpected bugs.

Devs mentioned it’s recommended to play it from the beginning after VOs update.
