Quick Guide to Rune Crafting Event

Pick according to your own needs. If you’re not sure, then our default suggestion would be as follows:

• Vio slot 4/6 HP%
• Vio slot 4 CD
• Vio slot 2 Spd
• Swift slot 6 Atk%

Other good options to consider:

Swift slot 2 Spd, slot 4 CD – Swift is a great pick, as long as you don’t get baited into gambling on slot 4/6 HP%, or even worse slot 6 Acc. HP% main stat swift is purely a speed chase and will turn out completely useless in 98% of cases, while Atk/CD Swift runes can still be god tier for damage dealers even if they completely dodge speed.

Will slot 2 Spd, slot 4 HP%, slot 4 CD, slot 6 HP% – Some people lump Vio/Will into the same top tier category as the best sets in the game, but Will is definitely less versatile and on a lower tier than Vio. Still a great choice though if you need it.

Vio slot 4 CR, slot 6 Atk% – These options are less versatile than HP% Vio runes but still an option if you need them. Just understand that practically all Vio damage dealers are bruisers and not glass cannon nukers. Majority of Vio damage dealers use slot 6 HP% rather than slot 6 Atk%.

Rage Slot 4 CD, slot 6 Atk% – For damage dealers and improving your cleave game in PvP content, it’s always recommended to focus your farming on Giants. Rage runes are still useful though, so this is a great way to get some Rage runes without having to take energy away from farming Giants to farm Necro.

Rune Crafting Event: Substats

Your goal is to get 4 ideal substats with high rolls. Do not take any rune with a single bad substat, even if the other 3 substats are perfect max roll ideal substats. There is no +6 in this event and you want to maximize your chances of ending up with a useful rune without needing to reapp.

• Slot 2 Spd: You MUST have Atk%, HP%, and Def%. The 4th substat can be either CR, Res, or Acc.
• Slot 4 HP%: You MUST have Spd, Def%, and Atk%. The 4th substat can be either CR, Res, or Acc.
• Slot 4 CR: You MUST have Spd, HP%, Def%, and Atk%.
• Slot 4 Vio CD: You MUST have Spd, Atk%, and HP%. The 4th substat can be either CR or Def%.
• Slot 4 Swift/Rage CD: You MUST have Spd, Atk%, and CR. The 4th substat can be either HP% or Def%.
• Slot 6 HP%: You MUST have Spd, Def%, and Atk%. The 4th substat can be either CR, Res, or Acc.
• Slot 6 Vio Atk%: You MUST have Spd, HP%, Def%, and CR.
• Slot 6 Swift/Rage Atk%: You MUST have Spd, CR, and CD. The 4th substat can be either HP% or Def%.

These event runes can also come with an innate/prefix stat. You should always aim to have an innate and not settle for any rune without an innate unless there is not much time left in the event. The ideal innate stat is any one of the “4th” substats for that type of rune.

For example, on a Vio Slot 4 HP% rune, the ideal innate would be CR, Res or Acc. Getting one of the 3 must-have substats (for example, Spd, Def%, or Atk%) as an innate instantly makes the rune bad, since those are the stats you want multiple rolls on. Getting any of the other substats that aren’t mentioned (for example, flat HP/Def/Atk) may be acceptable and would depend on how much time is left in the event and what you’re willing to settle for.
