You need to unlock the checkmark first, then focus on the social aspects of the game. As you continue playing, you’ll improve and things will speed up – eventually you’ll be able to get perfect scores much faster.
Important points:
- You can’t get the checkmark immediately – you need to reach at least stage 2
- Being a police officer in the game isn’t very enjoyable (based on completed playthrough)
- It’s not possible to run both the gym and be a police officer at the same time
- In their experience, the gym-related content is more worthwhile than the police career path
