This is a list of the Cheat Codes available to use in the LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 game.

Red Parcel Extras

There are a total of 24 Extras available in this game. The first four can be purchased from the Mail Room in the Leaky Cauldron. The other 20 you’ll have to unlock by collecting the Red Parcels hidden around London and Hogwarts.

Below I’ve listed each Extra in the order they appear in the menu. I have also listed what they do, and how to unlock them.

Comedy Specs

• How To Unlock: Create a new game, then purchase in the Mail Room
• What It Does: Spectrespecs will look like goofy eyeballs, instead of their usual appearance

Advanced Guide

• How To Unlock: Create a new game, then purchase in the Mail Room
• What It Does: A ghost will appear in each area of the hub, showing you how many collectables there are to find. This is an excellent way to keep track of your progress while exploring

Disguise

• How To Unlock: Create a new game, then purchase in the Mail Room
• What It Does: This gives all characters fake noses, glasses and moustaches.

Carrot Wands

• How To Unlock: Create a new game, then purchase in the Mail Room
• What It Does: This turns all characters wand’s into carrots. The wands will still work just fine.

Super Strength

• How To Unlock: Collect the Red Parcel in Back Courtyard, then purchase in the Mail Room
• What It Does: This gives all characters the Super Strength ability

Character Token Detector

• How To Unlock: Collect the Red Parcel in Divination Classroom, then purchase in the Mail Room
• What It Does: Arrows will point to the locations of Character Tokens. This will not tell you HOW to collect them, just WHERE they can be found

Fall Rescue

• How To Unlock: Collect the Red Parcel in Library, then purchase in the Mail Room
• What It Does: If you fall off a ledge, you will be magically levitated back onto it

Character Studs

• How To Unlock: Collect the Red Parcel in Entrance Hall, then purchase in the Mail Room
• What It Does: Defeated enemies will drop a small amount of studs

Score x2

• How To Unlock: Collect the Red Parcel in Hogsmeade, then purchase in the Mail Room
• What It Does: Multiplies the value of all collected studs by 2. This stacks with other stud multiplier Extras

Score x4

• How To Unlock: Collect the Red Parcel in Platform 9 3/4, then purchase in the Mail Room
• What It Does: Multiplies the value of all collected studs by 4. This stacks with other stud multiplier Extras

Score x6

• How To Unlock: Collect the Red Parcel in Hogsmeade Path, then purchase in the Mail Room
• What It Does: Multiplies the value of all collected studs by 6. This stacks with other stud multiplier Extras

Score x8

• How To Unlock: Collect the Red Parcel in Back Entrance, then purchase in the Mail Room
• What It Does: Multiplies the value of all collected studs by 8. This stacks with other stud multiplier Extras

Score x10

• How To Unlock: Collect the Red Parcel in Black Lake, then purchase in the Mail Room
• What It Does: Multiplies the value of all collected studs by 10. This stacks with other stud multiplier Extras

Stud Magnet

• How To Unlock: Collect the Red Parcel in Upper Corridor, then purchase in the Mail Room
• What It Does: This vastly increases the distance at which you can pick up studs, making stud collection easier

Regenerate Hearts

• How To Unlock: Collect the Red Parcel in Forbidden Forest, then purchase in the Mail Room
• What It Does: If you are missing any hearts, you will regenerate them every few seconds

Extra Hearts

• How To Unlock: Collect the Red Parcel in Defense Against the Dark Arts Classroom, then purchase in the Mail Room
• What It Does: This gives you six hearts, instead of the usual four

Invincibility

• How To Unlock: Collect the Red Parcel in Divination Courtyard, then purchase in the Mail Room
• What It Does: This makes you immune to all damage

Red Brick Detector

• How To Unlock: Collect the Red Parcel in Hosgmeade Station, then purchase in the Mail Room
• What It Does: Arrows will point to the locations of Red Parcels. This will not tell you HOW to get them, just WHERE to get them

Hogwarts Crest Detector

• How To Unlock: Collect the Red Parcel in Entrance Hall, then purchase in the Mail Room
• What It Does: Arrows will point to the locations of Crest Pieces. This will not tell you HOW to collect them, just WHERE they can be found

Gold Brick Detector

• How To Unlock: Collect the Red Parcel in London Streets, then purchase in the Main Room
• What It Does: Arrows will point to the locations of Gold Bricks. This will not tell you HOW to collect them, just WHERE they can be found

Christmas

• How To Unlock: Collect the Red Parcel in Wilderness, then purchase in the Mail Room
• What It Does: This gives all characters Santa hats

Collect Ghost Studs

• How To Unlock: Collect the Red Parcel in Grassy Courtyard, then purchase in the Mail Room
• What It Does: This allows you to collect the ghost studs that Nearly Headless Nick leaves behind. Each ghost stud is worth 1,000

Fast Magic

• How To Unlock: Collect the Red Parcel in Astronomy Tower, then purchase in the Mail Room
• What It Does: This increases the speed of the magic you perform

Fast Dig

• How To Unlock: Collect the Red Parcel in Hogwarts Grounds, then purchase in the Mail Room
• What It Does: This increases the speed at which you dig up dig spots

200 Gold Brick Bonus

Once you collect all 200 Gold Bricks, head to the Movie Room in the Leaky Cauldron to find a whole bunch of gold LEGO pieces.

Build them into a model of Hogwarts, which acts as a stud fountain!

Joke Spells

These spells can all be purchased from the counter on the right side of Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes. Once purchased, these spells will appear in the purple slot on the spell wheel. To select which specific spell you want to have active, hold down the “tag” button to pull up the Spell Wheel. Hover the cursor over the purple slot and the spells will cycle between themselves. Release the “tag” button when the spell you want appears to select it.

Below, I’ll list each spell and what it does.

Slugulus Erecto

• What It Does: This causes the victim to vomit up slugs

Rictusempra

• What It Does: This causes the victim to break out into a laughing fit

Entomorphis

• What It Does: This causes the victim to turn into a bug, sprouting mandibles and antenna on their head

Tarantallegra

• What It Does: This causes the victim to start dancing uncontrollably

Locomotor Mortis

• What It Does: This ties up the victim’s legs, forcing them to hop around

Redactum Skullus

• What It Does: This shrinks the victim’s head

Colovaria

• What It Does: This changes the color of the victim’s hair

Calvorio

• What It Does: This makes the victim bald

Anteoculatia

• What It Does: This makes the victim sprout antlers on their head

Herbifors

• What It Does: This makes the victim grow flowers on their head

Glacius

• What It Does: This encases the victim in ice

Incarcerous

• What It Does: This prevents the victim from moving by tying up their whole body

Expelliarmus

• What It Does: This causes the victim to jump in shock, leaving them vulnerable to attack

Flipendo

• What It Does: This will flip the victim around in the air

Trip Jinx

• What It Does: As you might guess, this causes the victim to trip over their own feet

Stupefy

• What It Does: This stuns the victim, leaving them unable to act

Transfiguration

• What It Does: This turns the victim into either a toad or a rat

Engorgio Skullus

• What It Does: This causes the victim’s head to expand

Immobilus

• What It Does: This encases the victim in a blue bubble
