Graviteam Tactics: Mius-Front – Tips for Playing Karbusel as Germans (Campaign as the Axis)

How to Play Karbusel as Germans

Your line is always going to get smashed.

What I would try is instead of trying to create a “front” instead form your battlegroups into outposts of resistance.

For example, try to combine as much of your assets as possible on advantageous ground, and try to funnel the Russians through areas of bad terrain.

For example sometimes I will retreat from low ground in order to get the russians to occupy that position, so that I can then counterattack next round from the better ground.

Also you could try grouping all your AT together instead of equally dispersing it around. So you might have one infantry company supported by 2-3 batteries of Pak, or one company might get all your AT assets while others just receive infantry guns etc.

Also you could try to keep a mobile reserve in the rear area that can counter attack any Russian breakthroughs. This is especially powerful if you were able to trap your enemy in areas of disadvantagous terrain.
