Tips for New Players

You should focus on main quests. You stop doing free roaming after a while. Main quest give you “focus” and game is deigned – I think, mostly designed that way.

So you learn game mechanics that way (I’m also in early mid game now).

Map is huge. And much more “difficult to understand, where to go”, compared to a Assasing Creed game or something. It’s not like areas/districts are at one level.

Sometimes higher level areas can be relative new the starting place. So I gave up freeroaming after some time.

Note: Try to follow the roads, when going to next main quest. That way, you find Point of Interests and these respawn points. If you wonder into red fog or too much high level enemies, than you are not in the right place.

Twigs can be mined from these Dens. The one I show here is quite close to the starter area and is a good source of twigs, especially when starting out.

You can use the construction hammer and scroll down to “Terrain” then you can select the style of terrain you want to use, and if you’d like to flatten terrain, you can hover over the terrain you’d like to flatten and right click to remove the terrain.
