Tip for Puzzles in Old Temple
When you have 1 or 2 puzzles left that are too difficult to finish, the game offers the “snake staff” item which you can buy at squalmart in the end-phase of the game. When you enter the temple with this staff in your inventory, click it to activate it.
Then when you enter a puzzle room, all the snakes have perished and you only need to traverse the maze. Once clicked the charge is gone, so you have to buy a new staff or a recharge to use it again.
The staff is rather expensive (something like 200,000 or 400,000 gold, I don’t remember exactly), so it’s really only for the few puzzles that are too difficult.
