The Bazaar – Quick Guide to Pyg

Pyg Guide

Starting Strategy:

  • With PYG, always seek medium items at the start. They are all quite good and sell for 4 instead of 2.
  • Priority for items: 1) ATM 2) Regal Blade 3) Bushel.

Skills:

  • Arms Dealer is a guaranteed 10 wins.
  • Left/right shield can be good with an early Bushel/Landscraper.

Pivot Items (in Order):

  • Crook (find at tool vendor or silver vendor; if obtained before level 6, you ensure 10 wins).
  • Dumbbells if before level 6, as the diamond version is powerful.
  • Beehive (great for any build as it provides lots of triggers for Landscraper).
  • Landscraper (less effective but can work well with the right skills).

Economy:

  • ALWAYS take Loupe as it enables insane economy; also a great target for level up at 11.
  • Try to get a Pawn Shop as it enables good economy and allows for huge HP.

Pawn Shop Tips:

  • Place it on board and take the “10% max health” to maximize gains.
  • In late game, you can sell your high-HP Pawn Shop and take the “25 HP for each gold” reward.
  • The Billboard can be great but is expensive and takes up significant stash space.

“Perfect” Build Combinations:

  • Crook works perfectly with:
  • Beehive
  • Yoyo
  • Atlatl
  • Can be complemented with:
    • Shadow Cloak
    • Knife Set
    • Medium Lifesteal
    • Model Ship (depending on your skills)
  • Landscraper + Beehive:
  • Look for skills that boost weapon damage and shield
  • Place a Yoyo beside the bee
  • Landscraper + double Yoyo is viable but VERY RARE

Early Encounters:

  • Go for Mosquito if you have Regal Blade.
  • Tent Mayor is an excellent encounter as it can give you a Silver Dog.
  • Always attempt Boiler Room Brawler as the hammer item is powerful.
  • The Crow (name unspecified) is good for economy but somewhat overrated.

But in 2016 I finally created my first website about video games – Gameplay Tips. And exactly 4 years later, Game Cheat Codes was created – my second website dedicated to legal game cheats. My experience with games started back in 1994 with the Metal Mutant game on ZX Spectrum computer. And since then, I’ve been playing on anything from consoles, to mobile devices.
