Technically you can still get it by starting a co-op game with someone who has it, and when you finish the first mission, the bitsplit will get sent to both inventories even if host doesn’t have the DLC.
Important note:
I wouldn’t go through the trouble if I were you though, personally, there’s other options for killing robots.
