Explanation of Gravestones
What are the drop chances for items from gravestones? Like can my gravestone drop an upgraded item or just food and gold?
The gravestones will contain a random item from your previous runs, they’re balanced to give a nice little bonus, but to generally not give great loot (upgraded equipment is possible though), and to not be exploitable.
If you find you’re getting gold often then those previous runs are dieing without very many items.
If the game has a small number of items to choose from it’s likely to pick gold as a means of preventing people from exploiting the system.
