More Buffs, Less Cost: Phastos Deck Guide
This is the deck that gave me the infinite boarder this season. I just made it, but I already think is interesting and fun enough to be shared here, and a good excuse to take that Phastos out for a ride (along side his other buff friends that have been forgotten).
Gameplay Tips
- Prioritize Sunspot, Okoye and Phastos, in their respective turns.
- With Moongirl we want to copy mainly Mockingbird or SheHulk (Sometimes even both).
- Mysterio is the main way to discount Mockingbird, but there are some tricky ways to make her quite cheap with a couple of Moongirl cards.
- Obviously if we want to copy SheHulk do it on turn 4 in order to skip turn 5.
- Manage your “power per space” in each location. Since we run both Mysterio and MrSinnister we want to be careful so one of our location isnt filled with too many weak cards.
The Super Play!
This is not the deck “main thing”, a lot of times it wont be possible, but is good to know that the option is there. If Mysterio is on the board and you can copy both Mockingbirtd and SheHulk before turn 5, then you can skip turn 5 and play 2 Mockingbirds and 2 SheHulks on the final turn.
And with a little luck with the locations or the Phastos discount, we might be able to play all those 4 big girls PLUS one or even 2 of our tech cards.
Quinjet
It just came to my mind that Quinjet would be a great addition to make the “Super Play” more reliable and flexible. I didnt test this but I would say that taking out America, Okoye or Nakia for a Quinjet might be a great change, so maybe try to include it (I would change Nakia).
