Ultimate Sobek Statue Puzzle Guide
The Sobek Statue puzzle can show up as an Ushabti puzzle in the Lower Tomb, tomb variation 4. The goal is to figure out which way each statue needs to face using the hint. You can click images to zoom in.
Skip the first part of the hint, it’s just flavor text that doesn’t change. The important info is marked with lines and arrows showing which direction statues should face.
Use the valves next to each statue to rotate it. Right valve turns it counter-clockwise, left valve clockwise. One valve turn rotates the statue 15 degrees. Three turns is 45 degrees, six turns is 90 degrees.
To make a statue face another one diagonally, rotate it 30 degrees (two valve turns). See the diagram for an example with the green-eyed shield-bearer statue.
If you lose track of rotations and aren’t sure if a statue lines up right, go to the statue it should face and double check the alignment from there.
Solution #1
The Sobek fighters get ready to fight each other. Archers stare down the swordsmen, and swordsmen glare back at the archers. Everyone’s in position, waiting for the signal to start the battle. It’s gonna be an intense matchup between these different combat styles.
Solution #2
The sword and shield guys go head-to-head, ready to duel. They lock eyes with their lookalike enemies. Meanwhile, the spear dudes line up across from each other. They’re on the same side but fighting as opposites. Everyone’s set for the fight to begin.
Solution #3
All the fighters are paired up, but no one wants to fight someone with the same jeweled eyes as them. The shield guys stand across from each other, ready to block hits coming from both directions.
Solution #4
It’s an even fight, with everyone getting hurt. The fighters run straight away from the person they’re up against. But the sword guys stay put, each one ready to strike the closest shield holder one last time.
